It has been a while since I watched my boxset of this series, but I
got watching it over the weekend again, and I had completely forgotten
how awesome Fist of the North Star was.
Now,
i'm not going to tell you to just go out and buy this, as this is
unlike most anime series' that you get these days. It is not a comedy,
although some things that occur are hillarious. This series is
seriously violent and aggressive, and maybe not for some anime fans of
the modern age, who's idea of anime is childish antics, wiht comedic
value.
This series is good if you are looking for a change of
pace, I suppose the style and genre can be related to Afro Samurai. I
really enjoyed watching some of it again, especially since the past few
weeks I have been watching stuff like Dragonball and Trigun recently.
It was nice to get away from that kind of 'childish' anime.
Don't
get me wrong either, I love that style of anime, but sometimes you want
a change, and the first dvd of this series was brillaint and exactly
what I was looking for.
